The Hidden History of Horse Racing in Kentucky
Horse racing and the Commonwealth of Kentucky are synonymous. The equine industry in the state dates as far back as the eighteenth century, and some of that history remains untold. Historian Foster Ockerman, Jr., will discuss his new book "The Hidden History of Horse Racing," and share stories of Kentucky's past. Copies of the book will be available to purchase. Presented by the Lexington History Museum.
