Around the World is a book challenge for people who want to join a book club, but want to choose what books they read, based on the selected country each month. Share about your book at our meeting! Choose a book by an author from the chosen country, or with a setting in that country. Registration requested.

Looking to get involved with the library, or want to earn volunteer credits in a safe, affirming space? Join our Teen Advisory Board, and you can contribute to the library! Help us design programs, choose books to purchase, and even pick this month's outfit for the goose.
Participants will use upcycled library books to create their very own book safes!
Ages 14 - 17.
Registration required. All materials provided.
Please only bring books in good condition (free of stains or tears, with binding intact).
No registration needed. Drop in between 2-4pm.
In each session, we’ll explore different career paths through hands-on activities led by professors from the University of Kentucky. This workshop welcomes all experience levels and will introduce you to expressing your own food memories in writing. Like many past participants, you’ll leave inspired to collect and share your life’s stories for yourself and future generations.
