Watercolor painting club with a lesson each month suitable for beginners, dilettantes, and anyone who just wants to hang out and paint with us. We will be following a series of tutorials that start with the basics at our first meeting and build on those skills with each class that follows. Registration required so I will be able to purchase enough supplies for everyone.

Discover your voice and express yourself through words and music. Learn how to write lyrics, craft poems, and rap with confidence. Explore studio basics, from recording and mixing to sharing your tracks. Build performance skills and stage presence to showcase your art. Dive into the business side of music, including registering your songs with BMI and uploading them online.

The weekly classes will be informal and guided by a moderator.  EVERYONE is welcome - ANY native language, ANY English level. This month features the Lexington Community Orchestra, conducted by Timothy Wiggins. Classical Music Sundays presents live classical music the third Sunday of every month, September through May, with EKU music professor Bernardo Scarambone as emcee.

This month's theme is Arab American Heritage. Pick any book you want that fits the theme and come discuss it with friends! Each month, we will discuss books in a different genre and everyone will talk about the book they chose to read. Spoilers may occur, so please be advised.

If you're not sure what to read, ask for a recommendation at the Beaumont Branch front desk!

This month features the Morehead State University Mountain Music Ambassadors. Live bluegrass music the third Thursday of every month, October through April. Sponsored by Southland Jamboree.
