Northside Branch - Classroom
Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Please register if you plan to attend.
These tours are guided audio walking tours with a variety of topics focused on Downtown Lexington, KY. Music will play in between each stop, and the listener can pause the track while walking between stops.

Northside Branch - Digital Studio
In this fast-paced, hands-on session, you’ll go from "never held a uke" to playing your first few chords. We’ll cover the absolute essentials: how to hold it, how to tune it, and the "magic chords" that unlock hundreds of your favorite songs.
We stand for free and open access to information. That starts with removing unnecessary barriers to our educational resources and technology. The Lexington Public Library no longer charges fines or fees for late, lost, or damaged material.

The Materials Selection Policy was updated and renamed the Collection Development Policy which was approved by the Board on January 14, 2009. We will be following a series of tutorials that start with the basics at our first meeting and build on those skills with each class that follows. Registration required so I will be able to purchase enough supplies for everyone.
