The Marksbury Family Branch Makerspace, located at 2197 Versailles Road, is an inclusive space where customers of all ages can come to learn, create, and explore together, free of charge. Outfitted with current high-tech and low-tech tools, the Makerspace is designed to promote education and cultivate a do-it-yourself spirit for the whole family. Engrave a bookmark for your next read, design matching t-shirts for your family vacation, personalize a coffee mug, embroider a t-shirt, or print fun stickers for your new business.
Visit us weekly for gardening tips and to get advice for your gardening problems! Master Gardeners will also provide free seeds (or plants, when available) and gardening education resources.
The library's second annual cooking show will feature Ilias Pappas of Athenian Grill (10 a.m.) and Babita Shrestha, author of Garden Exotica: International Plant-Based Fusion Cuisine (11 a.m.). Presented in partnership with Bites of the Bluegrass.
We'll have plenty of tape 'roads' connecting different parts of our interactive town. Bring your own toy car or borrow one of ours to drive our masking tape roads and explore different neighborhoods on your road trip adventure. Recommended for ages 2-5 with caregiver.
Are you curious about animals from Australia or Butterflies? Maybe you want to learn more about dinosaurs or puppet-making. In each Curious Crafting session we will explore a new topic, read a book, and make a craft to take home!

Activities include making your own fidget toys, cardboard and book destruction, wall scribbling, water balloon fights, coloring, and more! Dress for mess.
Let's explore how our senses affect our eating experience and discuss some activities that allow us to have playful experiences with food. Parents, caregivers, and children are invited to join the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service to learn how using our senses can make eating a more enjoyable experience. Registration is recommended but not required.

Calling all adults! Join us for a relaxing hour as we follow along with a video and learn to paint. We meet every month on the last Monday of the month. All skill levels invited. Materials will be provided as supplies last. Registration Requested.
Play Capture the Flag, Battle Royale, and more! After the library closes, the building will be a laser tag battleground. For ages 13+.
