First, we'll learn about mathematician and World War II hero Alan Turing. Then we'll try our hand at some codebreaking of our own. Ages 12+

Let's explore how our senses affect our eating experience and discuss some activities that allow us to have playful experiences with food. Parents, caregivers, and children are invited to join the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service to learn how using our senses can make eating a more enjoyable experience. Registration is recommended but not required.

Visit us weekly for gardening tips and to get advice for your gardening problems! Master Gardeners will also provide free seeds (or plants, when available) and gardening education resources.

Our friendly group is open to everyone who wants to practice speaking Spanish in a supportive and welcoming environment. Herbs are usually what give many of our favorite foods their characteristic taste, like the boldness of a pasta sauce or the depth of a savory soup or stew. Generally, these ingredients add to the dish by providing a new dimension of flavor.

Have a spider plant that just keeps propagating? Is your pothos in need of a snip? Want to share some bonus seeds from last planting season?

Bring your plant extras to Eastside for a swap with fellow plant enthusiasts!
