After the story, we’ll create our own first aid kits to take home! No registration required. 

Join Northside staff and learn to make a simple, traditional Cathedral Windows quilt. Make one block each month and you will make a finished small quilt or throw by the end of 12 months! Fabric and sewing tools provided while supplies last. Prerequisites: you must already be able to thread a needle and hand sew a straight stitch and a slip stitch. Please register if you plan to attend.

Participants will learn simple science concepts while exploring textures, colors, and creativity. From glittery slime to stretchy creations, each child will leave with a custom slime and a fun, sensory experience to remember.This engaging program encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning through play—perfect for summer fun at the library!

Are you curious about animals from Australia or Butterflies? Maybe you want to learn more about dinosaurs or puppet-making. In each Curious Crafting session we will explore a new topic, read a book, and make a craft to take home! 

Calling all adults! Join us for a relaxing hour as we follow along with a video and learn to paint. We meet every month on the last Monday of the month. All skill levels invited. Materials will be provided as supplies last. Registration Requested.

Join us for an evening of music and creativity at the library! The Song Farmers, a local collective of talented musicians, are inviting everyone to sing, play, and enjoy popular tunes together. Creating your own DIY gel air freshener is a good way to know what is in it and can make it any scent you want without it being overpowering. Peppermint and lemon are a great combination to help keep the air fresh and your nose clear. Air fresheners with essential oils are easy to make so you will be able to make quite a few in no time at all. All materials provided but are limited.
