The Next Chapter Book Club offers a unique, community-based Book Club Program for Adolescents and Adults with Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Other Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The club will meet on the first Thursday of each month (with October being an exception), where we will participate in discussion, enjoy activities, and select future readings.
After hours we'll get out the parachute, the sitting scooters, and more! Ages 13+

The Materials Selection Policy was updated and renamed the Collection Development Policy which was approved by the Board on January 14, 2009. The Board of Trustees assumes full responsibility for all legal actions which may result from the implementation of any policies stated herein.

The William Stamps Farish, III Theater at the Central Library is available to the community for lectures, live music, community forums, film festivals, small theatrical productions, dance performances, literary readings, debates, and other creative uses.
The materials in these collections are physically housed in the Kentucky Room at the Central Library and can be viewed during the Central Library's open hours.
